Raigarh Ispat & Power Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated under the Companies Act 1956 on 21st September 2004. The company has been promoted by Shri Kamal Kishore Agrawal, Shri Dhruv Kumar Agrawal and their family members.

Presently the company is successfully operating an integrated plant — 4×100 TPD Sponge Iron, 350 TPD Billet, 12 MW Power Plant & Rolling Mill at Vill. Gerwani, Raigarh (C.G.). For long-term viability, waste management is the key, and we have pioneered recycling waste heat and char into usable energy.

Sponge Iron
Produced through direct reduction of iron ore in our 4×100 TPD rotary kilns. High metallisation, consistent quality, ideal for induction furnace steelmaking.

Power
12 MW captive power generated through zero-waste technology — 8 MW from Waste Heat Recovery Boilers and 4 MW from Fluidised Bed Combustion using char by-products.

Steel Billets
Manufactured in our 90,000 MT per annum (3×30,000 MT) induction furnace complex, producing square billets that are hot-charged directly into the rolling mill.

TMT Bars
Billets are hot-charged into our rolling mill for conversion to TMT (Thermo-Mechanically Treated) rebars — high-strength, corrosion-resistant steel for construction.

WHRB Plant
Waste Heat Recovery Boiler
Heat emitted from our four kilns — which would otherwise go to waste — is captured and used to generate 8 MW of electricity, at zero additional raw material cost.

Fluidised Bed Combustion
Ash Char and Dolo Char — by-products of the sponge iron process — are utilised as fuel in our 4 MW FBC Power Plant, eliminating disposal costs while generating captive power.
